Every week we pick five ideas from App Attack, the section where you vote for the apps you'd like to find on the store. This time two come from visitor votes and three from our own selection.
If one convinces you, leave a heart. If you want it now, switch on the bell and we'll let you know when it's out.
Caregiver: one parent, several siblings, one place
It's the most voted idea: three hearts. When a parent needs care, the visit calendar, medications and documents end up scattered across chats and photos. Caregiver puts them in a single app shared between siblings.
Apps for caregivers today have low ratings: according to Northwestern Medicine the average is 2.7 out of 5. There's room to build a good one.
Netto: what actually reaches you
From gross to net, RSUs included, which are usually worked out with spreadsheets and a bit of optimism. Netto simulates payslip and shares together and tells you what's left in your pocket.
It received a heart and a bell: whoever wants it, really wants it.
Quake Alert: the seconds that count
It uses the sensors of smartphones near the epicenter to estimate when the wave will reach you. An alarm, a countdown, then you take cover.
In Italy, an earthquake early warning on your phone is not yet widespread, and we'd like one. If it works, it's an app that really counts.
Lab Results: your blood tests, over time
You photograph the report, the app reads the values on your device and draws a chart for every marker, with a report to bring to your doctor.
The apps that do this today often pass the data to third-party AI services. Here it stays yours. It's new this week.
Cartographer: a game where the intelligence is yours
A traveler tells you about a world you've never seen, vaguely and contradictorily. You ask open questions, on-device AI answers and you draw the map.
You play in 2D on parchment or in 3D flying over the world you rebuilt. The game is the same, only the point of view changes.
Your turn
You'll find them all in App Attack. A heart says you like the idea, the bell lets you know when it's out.
Is there an idea you'd like that's missing? Suggest it: we read them all.
